I’m a fan of Tim Tebow for many reasons:
1) He’s a good person who is also a good football player.
2) The Broncos are fun to watch again.
3) He reminds me of how we played football growing up in Texas… run, run and run some more.
I’m not sure why he’s such a polarizing figure. I’m not particularly religious but I don’t judge people who are. Especially those that do good and don’t push their views on me. So I have come up with the following theory:
There are two groups of human beings on the planet.
The first are a hopeful and optimistic group. They tend to see the world as a place full of possibilities and believe that humans are capable of amazing kindness. They smile. They tip well. They love the holidays.
These people are called Teboists.
The second group is not quite as fun loving. In their eyes’ the glass is not only half empty, the glass itself is ugly, the beverage inside tastes bad, and the glasses in New York are way cooler. They are often the people that comment on blogs (see previous post). We call these people:
Cynical Mutha Fuckas
On behalf of humanity… get on the Tebow bandwagon. We don’t need any more mean people. To repurpose a quote:
The world is full of CMFs the number increasing rapidly the further one gets away from Denver, Colorado….Go Broncos.
